Dennis B. Fitzpatrick, Ph.D., CFA
Founder, CEO, and President of DBF. Dennis founded DBF in 1984 and has over 25 years of investment experience. Dennis provides overall management of the firm and manages DBF growth equity portfolios. Dennis is a CFA charterholder and holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from the University of Colorado.
Brian McGrath, Ph.D.
Executive Vice President and Principal. Brian joined the firm in 1988 and has over 21 years of investment experience. Brian serves as Chief Economist providing economic insight to clients and portfolios. Brian holds a Doctorate in Economics from Brown University.
Drew Black
DBF Mortgage Asset Strategy Portfolio Manager. Drew joined the firm in 1997 and has over 12 years of commercial mortgage experience. Drew manages the DBF Mortgage Asset Strategy and is Chairman of the Mortgage Investment Committee. Drew holds a BBA in Finance from Boise State University.
Cody Barney, CFA
Fixed Income Portfolio Manager and Principal. Cody joined the firm in 2000 and has over 9 years of investment experience. Cody is responsible for day-to-day management of fixed income and for coordinating the firm's fixed income trading. Cody is a CFA charterholder and holds BBAs in Accounting and Finance from Boise State University.
Brandon Fitzpatrick, MS
Co-Portfolio Equity Manager and Principal. Brandon has been co-managing the DBF equity portfolios since 2008. Brandon holds a Bachelor's degree in international relations from Brown University, a Master's degree in international economics from the University of California, San Diego, and a Master's degree in economics from the University of Miami. He has also completed the course work for his doctorate in economics at the University of Miami and has taught undergraduate classes in economics at the University of Miami.
